Parque Nacional- Los Alerces in Argentina. The synecdochial tree was logged nearly to extinction and this park protects some remaining individuals. Camping libre- free camping- is marked on the maps of national parks in Argentina. Here's an example of a site, that's my tent and bike in the foreground. The tree in the photo is not an Alerce, it is Coigüe, one of the many Nothofagus species found in the region.
